More About Nancy: Nancy Weaver is definitely a rising star on the African American Literary scene. She is a native Mississippian. Born and reared in the small town of Marks, Mississippi. She was valedictorian of State University of New York Empire State College. During her studies at Empire State College, Nancy won several scholastic awards, including the Cecil Cohen award for Black Studies. After graduating from Empire State College--having a passion for writing--she enrolled in Writers' Digest School; and as a result, In Her Presence: A Husband's Dirty Secret was born. She resides in South Carolina with her husband. She has completed her second novel and is currently at work on a third novel. She divides her time between writing, her husband, and keeping in touch with her three children. Her favorite past-time is Do-It-Yourself home decorating projects. She loves the spring and summer months, as she loves gardening and sharing her bounties, whether flowers or fruits, with friends and coworkers.
